Every time I’m out at the markets, I’ll buy some Turkish bread and stash it in my freezer. Turkish bread freezes especially when and are great as pizza bases, croutons, sandwich bread, quick kebabs.
Last night I made herb bread sticks to go with a Prawn and Asparagus Risotto.
- Turkish bread
- Butter – melted
- Gourmet Garden Italian Herb Blend Paste
Cut the turkish bread into thin strips and lay out on a pizza pan, cut side up. Mix the herb blend and the butter, brush on to the cut side of the bread. Grill the bread until golden and crisp. Turn the bread strips over, brush the other side, and grill again. Enjoy!
