For my desert, I fried one whole wonton wrapper and one wonton wrapper cut into fine strips (for a crunchy topping). I dropped them in fairly hot oil for about 10 seconds and pulled them out. You don’t want too much color on them, they’ll continue to color and crisp as they cool down.
I served my fried wonton wrappers with butterscotch ice cream and nutella and finished the dish off with a dusting of icing sugar. Yum!
