  1. Hi, I came across your blog a few weeks back and it’s very inspiring! I tried your Plaster Eggs and Corned Mutton and they were a roaring success and I am not even a full fledged cook, I only cook every now and then but your instructions and recipes were full proof!! I love it.

I noticed that you had stayed at U Sunsuri in Phuket. I am going there with my family and was wondering how it was for you? Was it good?

    1. Hi Navin,

It’s lovely to hear from you. I’m glad you enjoyed those 2 recipes. They’re both my favorites. I feel more inspired now to keep posting knowing that those recipes worked for you!

We absolutely loved U Sunsuri. It is a very new hotel and has some teething issues. But they have really good staff who are quick to respond and sort out any problems. If you’re not happy with something, be sure to raise it. You’ll find that they’re extremely understanding and are more than willing to help you out.

The hotel is located at Nai Harn which is about 30 minutes from Patong, so it’s quite far from the usual tourist crowd. I think it’s ideal for kids, the hotel itself has plenty of family friendly activities. The beach near the hotel is pretty quiet and about a 5 minute walk away. They have bicycles at the hotel and shuttle services too. The rooms are beautiful with great views. Nice pools with lots of room for everyone to hang out. Happy travelling!

      1. Hi Sharm,

Yes please keep posting more recipes. The fact that your recipes are all tummy warming family recipes and you simplify them is just great. Your blog is on my favourite list tab. It’s like having a family on speed dial when ever you have cooking problems.

Thank you for your feedback on the hotel! I was a little concerned as it was a new establishment. Now i feel much better!

Keep up the good work and hope to see more recipes and updates from you!
